OUR MISSION
Variety Young Professionals [VYP] is an energized group of young individuals who are committed to supporting Variety the Children’s Charity of Pittsburgh in assisting children with disabilities to lead more active lives, just like other children. 

WHO WE ARE
VYP is for young professionals (21+) who are interested in networking socially and professionally and contributing to the Variety community.

OUR GOALS

• Increase public awareness of Variety the Children’s Charity of Pittsburgh
• Raise funds for Variety’s Programs such as the Kids on the Go! Program
• Promote volunteer service and encourage young people to get involved to insure the continued success of Variety and its mission
• Provide career networking opportunities for young professionals

FUNDRAISING
The Wheelchair Grand Prix (WGP) is Variety Young Professionals’ signature fundraising event.  VYP is responsible for leveraging sponsorships, recruiting teams and volunteers, and coordinating all logistics for the event.

VOLUNTEERING
VYP members are encouraged to get involved in the many other Variety volunteer opportunities (e.g., Anniversary Gala, Camp Variety for Kids, Fishing Tournament, Halloween Party, etc.)
