Sony has collaborated with Variety - the Children's Charity to create limited-edition pins featuring iconic characters, Papa Smurf and Smurfette from "Smurfs: The Lost Village," which premieres in April 2017. Proceeds from the pins locally will benefit Variety's adaptive equipment programs and the experiences that we provide to so many children with disabilities.
The collector's item will be available for a minimum donation of $3.00 in movie theatres nationwide from December 2016 - May 2017.

Since 1991, the Gold Heart Pin Campaign has been one of Variety's signature fundraising endeavors (nationally). Variety works with one major motion picture studio every year, including Lionsgate, Twentieth Century Fox, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, Sony, Paramount, Warner Bros., and Universal Pictures to design a pin based on a film or character, including universally recognized characters like Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog, E.T., Spider-Man, Shrek, Yogi Bear, Yoda, Darth Vadar, R2-D2, C-3PO, and the Minions.
