Variety was thrilled to participate once again in the 2026 Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon weekend!

This year, we had DOZENS of participants choose Variety as their charity – raising more than $12,000!! Not only was it a great way to give back and get moving, but the experience was fun and meaningful for all participants!

2026 Marathon Events

Happened Saturday, May 2, 2026:

  1. 5K (3.1 miles) beginning at 7:30AM
  2. Champions Mile beginning at 8:30AM – join us to cheer Variety kids and those of all abilities!
  3. Toddler Trot beginning at 8:30AM
  4. Kids One-Mile Marathon beginning at 9:30AM
  5. Pet Walk beginning at 12PM

Happened Sunday, May 3, 2026:

  1. Full Marathon (26.2 miles) beginning at 7AM
  2. Half Marathon (13.2 miles) beginning at 7AM
  3. Marathon Relay (26.2 miles w/ 5 people) beginning at 7AM
  4. Back Half Marathon beginning at 9AM
  5. Four-Mile Fitness Challenge beginning at 9:30AM
