WHAT IS VARIETY OF FIRSTS?
Trying something new is the best feeling for a kid. Part bravery, part unknown. “Firsts” spark fun, wonder and a sense of accomplishment. But for some kids, those “Firsts” do not come easy. It takes courage, support, and love to make them possible—a First word, a First bike ride, a First chance to join in.
At the heart of our mission and programs, Variety is actively providing new, first-time experiences to kids with disabilities, as well as to their siblings, parents, AND the greater community surrounding them – allowing everyone to live fuller lives, together.
Everyday, our adaptive equipment programs help kids and their families have their own FIRST experiences, and those Firsts create new-found joy, growth, and confidence.
Variety of Firsts embodies that same impact by empowering EVERYONE to experience something new for the kids – and no First is too small!
