Labor Day Parade

Since 2014, a number of Variety kids have had the extraordinary opportunity to ride their adaptive bikes in the Labor Day Parade through downtown Pittsburgh!

The day and experience create truly memorable moments for the kids and their families, as they ride together in one of the nation’s largest parades. It’s even more meaningful as the crowds of people lining the streets cheer and applaud the kids as they ride by – making them feel special, proud, and included!

A big thanks to those that make this experience possible, the Allegheny/Fayette Central Labor Council, Steve and Chris Mazza, and everyone in organized labor!!
